I have followed Gimelstob for his tuneups and he is playing great tennis. Max Mirnyi is a tall baseline player who is much better at doubles. The big juice here makes Gimelstob first play of the Open.

I think you're right about Gimelstob's recent form but Mirnyi is no baseline player.

He's part of a rare bunch that is almost strictly serve and volley.

Gimelstob has played well recently but should be outplayed by Mirnyi who is simply a much better player. However, as we all know upsets do occur in tournaments like this and big first round upsets always happen. Gimelstob has a chance but a very small chance. I wouldnt bet Mirnyi at -226 either. I would stay away from this one. There are better matches to bet on the board.

I've grown to hate Gimelstob. He is the one player that screws me everytime!! That being said i am taking him today at +4.5 even and small on +239. I do give him a good chance today. Miryni has been very inconsistent lately and G-stob will fight to the very end.
